spent last night celebrating my friends’ graduation! it started off cold and rainy, but by the end of the day it was pretty beautiful.

NAME chase

AGE almost 6 years old

ANIMAL/BREED black labrador

NICKNAMES chaser

HOW OLD WHEN YOU BROUGHT THEM HOME about a month

WHY YOU CHOSE THIS PET we were living in nepal and a british embassy family had bred their labrador to calm her down some. so my mom went with a friend of hers to help her pick out a puppy — my dad specifically told my mom not to buy one. but about an hour later i got a call from my mom telling me to head over to the house because she couldn’t choose between two puppies. i told my dad and he acted all resigned and told me to make sure to pick a boy. my mom and i were torn between chase and a yellow lab, but my mom’s friend really liked that one and chose him first and named him milu. chase was the better pick anyway <3 

MOST ENDEARING HABIT sometimes when he’s bored or hungry or wants a walk he’ll come over to you and rest his chin in your lap and stare up at you with the most adorable eyes ever.

MOST ANNOYING HABIT he barks at EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. it’s so loud and we live in a really small neighborhood and share our backyard and it’s awful when he gets started. 

ONE THING YOU WOULD NEVER CHANGE ABOUT YOUR PET he’s so fucking sneaky when it comes to getting food and other things he wants. he’ll pretend he doesn’t know how to jump up to reach the counter when you’re around and paying attention, but if you leave them room he’ll somehow manage to get a full rack of ribs off the table.
